Choose an Alkanes from Crude Oil Page

Crude oil is a mixture of hydrocarbons. These pages separate the key ideas students need for Topic 4: how fractions are separated by boiling point, how long-chain hydrocarbons are cracked into more useful molecules, and how reforming changes molecular structure to improve fuel quality.
