Our general privacy policy covers individual students who buy courses themselves. Schools get their own agreement in place of it, which we will send for your DPO to review before anything is signed. If there is a clause your school needs, tell us and we will discuss it.

Do we have to change how or when we teach?
No. That is the point of asking for your scheme of work rather than handing you ours. You teach your topics in your order, at your pace, and the assessment is scheduled to land after you finish each one.
We do not deliver lessons, set homework, or tell your department how to sequence the course.
What happens when our scheme of work slips?
It always does. Your teacher can move any test date themselves from the teacher account, or email us and we will move it. There is no charge and no notice period for rescheduling.
Which exam boards do you cover?
Edexcel A Level, Edexcel International A Level, AQA and OCR. Questions are written against your board’s own specification wording — we do not take an Edexcel question bank and relabel it for an AQA school, because the two boards partition the same chemistry differently and the analytics would be wrong if we did.
Who actually marks the papers, and how long does it take?
A qualified chemistry teacher with an enhanced DBS — the same person every time, which is what makes the data comparable across the year. Scripts are returned within five working days of a paper closing.
Your teacher does not have to mark anything. If they want to, they can — they have full access to the marking interface.
Can our teacher change a mark they disagree with?
Yes, on any question, at any time. They see every annotation we made and the criterion each mark was awarded against. Their decision overrides ours, and the analytics update to match.
What do you need from us to set it up?
Three things: your scheme of work with term dates, a list of student names with their school email addresses, and the name and email of the chemistry teacher who will hold the teacher account.
We create every account. Your students receive their logins ready to use — there is nothing for your IT team to set up and nothing to install.
Does this replace our own mocks and internal assessment?
It sits alongside them. Mocks tell you where a student is against a grade boundary a few times a year. This tells you which specification points are secure, every few weeks, all year — which is the information you need while there is still time to act on it.
Can we start part-way through the year?
Yes. We build from wherever your scheme of work has got to. Because the licence runs by the term and assessment is built topic by topic, joining in January is no different from joining in September.
What happens to our students’ data when we stop?
You get an export of everything first — marks, analytics, student records — in whatever format your school needs. Retention and deletion after that are set out in the agreement your school signs, and we will not hold anything your DPO has not agreed to.
