This course covers the structure, bonding and reactivity of alkenes, including E/Z and cis-trans stereoisomerism with the Cahn-Ingold-Prelog rules, electrophilic addition and Markownikoff's rule, the addition reactions of alkenes, addition polymerisation and the processing of waste polymers, aligned with OCR A Level Chemistry A specification section 4.1.3 Alkenes.
